2009 AFG Applicant Tutorial
This page contains the applicant tutorial for the 2009 Assistance to Firefighters Grants.
The 2009 AFG Applicant Tutorial will allow applicants to become familiar with the grant application and the AFG grant. This tutorial provides tips for navigating the online application, changes in the program for this year, and a review of lessons learned in the past. Applicants are strongly encouraged to use this tutorial.
This year’s online tutorial offers greater detail to applicants, along with an option to select the specific subject matter of interest. By choosing the subject of interest in the tutorial’s table of contents, applicants can quickly obtain the information they need to assist them in drafting a successful grant presentation. The online applicant tutorial also contains direct links to the 2009 Program Guidance to ensure that the applicant has all the information available relating to each portion of the application process. In an effort to provide helpful information to applicants quickly and more efficiently, the online AFG E-Grant application now contains a link to the online tutorial. A CD version of the Applicant Tutorial can also be ordered free of charge.
