How To Bookmark This Tutorial
Did you know you can "save your place" on a web site, just the way you do in a book! It's called "bookmarking" a page ... And it's easy once you know what to do!
You have to know something first though. You have to know what kind of "browser" you have. There are a few different kinds, but the two most popular ones are called "Netscape" and "Internet Explorer". The reason you have to know what kind of browser you have is because each one has its own way to bookmark a page (but it's still easy, no matter which one you have).
If you don't know right now what kind of browser you have, you can find out easily – there are a couple of different ways:
- Just look at the very top of your screen and it should say the name of your browser ...
- Or, look in the upper right-hand corner of your computer screen. If you see an "e" that is turning around and looks like it has a globe painted on it, you are using the "Internet Explorer" browser. If you see a large letter "N", then you are using "Netscape" ...
Bookmarking Pages in Netscape/Mozilla/Opera

When you see "Add Bookmark" just click on it! You might want to notice what the page is called so the next time you're on-line and want to go back to that page, you can just pull down the "Bookmarks" menu and double-click on the name or description of that page to view it again.
Bookmarking Pages in Internet Explorer
If Internet Explorer is your browser, go to a page the page in tutorial you want to save. Once you're there, look for the "Favorites" menu at the top of your screen and pull it down.
